For Gods and For Men by James R. Johnson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
What are some of the book's themes? Lies, humanity, sex, politics and love. I felt the execution of these themes were average and it could have been better. The author doesn't indicate if this book is part of a series, I am hoping it does because there were still many unanswered questions.
Did the book end the way you expected? It wasn't entirely a surprise. The plot was rather well-written but was mostly predictable and I would have liked some element of surprise where Castimus was concerned.
What I liked about the whole book – I liked the pacing and the way the secondary characters came into the novel was excellent. The setting was expressive and directly connected with how each scene played out.
