Who in this book would you most like to meet? What would you ask or say?
Very tough choice. I would like to meet with Kai. He is so charismatic and the story revolved around him so much. But then, I would also like to meet with Sienna. The undercurrents of the story all point towards her and I would like to see the two of them together just for a moment.

Is the plot well-developed? Do you feel manipulated along the way, or do plot events unfold naturally?
The writing style is unique with strong cultural inferences even though the author has created a new world for her characters. The events don't appear forced and unfold naturally.

Is the story plot or character driven? In other words, do events unfold quickly? Or is more time spent developing characters' inner lives?
The story is very much character driven and while the surrounding events do unfold quickly, I felt like the personal lives of the characters tipped the scale more than once.

Consider the ending. Did you expect it or were you surprised? Was it forced?
I wasn't surprised and it wasn't forced but the ending wasn't anything fascinating to me. Is there any way that I could have it done it differently? I'm not sure. I just felt this ending was a little too rushed for my liking.
