Marching With Caesar: Civil War by R.W. Peake
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
How did the main character change during the novel? Titus became more sure of himself. As he moves up in rank he seems to be able to separate his emotions from fact. He does not allow his emotions to rule him.
Summarize the book without giving away the ending. Titus is trying to keep General Lepidus from flogging the entire Legion. This General seems to enjoy seeing other men suffer. Even for small offences (dust on buckle, smidge of dirt on shield) is an offence to this general. Titus is trying to prevail on Tribune to control the general.
What did you think of the main character? Titus seemed like a very calm person. It was almost like nothing bothered him.
Which character could you relate to best? I could not relate to one character more than the other. I did relate to each one in different settings.
